ICS-400 is a two-day course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands on information presented in the ICS-100 through ICS-300 Intermediate ICS courses, which are prerequisites for the ICS-400 Advanced course.Course Objectives:Explain how major incidents engender special management challenges.Describe the circumstances in which an area command is established.Describe the circumstances in which multi-agency coordination systems are establishedPre-Requisites: Successful completion of accredited ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300,Intermediate ICS-700, and ICS-800 courses.
Target Audience: ICS 400 is designed for State and local first responder senior personnel who are assigned to and expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity.
State and local first responder senior personnel must have their organization /supervisor's support to attend this Advanced level course.There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
