Join the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) on July 28 for a virtual workshop on the Future of Air Cargo Systems. This workshop focuses on key issues affecting air cargo planning and development, including data, interagency coordination, infrastructure and capacity constraints, and many others.
The workshop is a partnership with Purdue University in support of the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), and will introduce ACRP Project 03-80, which seeks to develop guidance for airport air cargo system planning at the regional and state levels. The insights gathered from these workshops will help inform the development of practical guidance, best practices, and recommendations for airport air cargo system planning.
The workshop is designed to be interactive, allowing participants to identify current practices, planning gaps, data needs, and potential strategies to improve the efficiency, resilience, and integration of air cargo systems within broader transportation networks.
