Join us for an interactive training designed to equip local, state, and county law enforcement with critical knowledge on navigating interactions with foreign nationals and diplomats. 

Led by experts from the U.S. Department of State, this training covers Diplomatic Security’s role in protecting U.S. and foreign mission personnel, the Office of Foreign Missions’ regulatory and service functions, and the complexities of diplomatic immunity—including how to identify diplomats, respond to legal violations, and understand the inviolability of diplomatic persons and facilities. It also addresses consular notification and access responsibilities when detaining foreign nationals. 

This professional development opportunity is particularly vital for those preparing to host international events, such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
