Session 2: Salamander LIVE- Applications Including Track and Tag 1:30P.M.- 4:30P.M.

Course Description: SALAMANDER LIVE VERSION 2 which is a credentialing and resource management tool. This solution gives all city and county agencies the ability to credential personnel/equipment and produce the standardized ID card credential. This then allows for seamless interoperability across all city and county lines.

Users and Organizations will learn:

  • How to utilize the Salamander "TRACK APP" (for smartphones and tablets) to conduct resource accountability.
  • How to utilize the Salamander "rapidTAG" (incident-specific badging system)
  • Using "Salamander LIVE", this course will also cover the ability to generate incident-specific reports (including NEW personnel and equipment COST REPORTS.
  • Briefly review other Salamander products including: "EVENTS PRO" solution which is web-based electronic ICS flowchart for greater situational awareness), the Preplanning, and the Salamander "ASSET MANAGEMENT" (Inventory) Solution will also be discussed for keeping tabs on ALL equipment inside of an organization.

Target Audience: This course is for current users, those with access to the Track App and/or rapid Tag, and a refresher for organizations who are interested in managing incident details that can be collected in Salamander.

This system / project is used by all Emergency Support functions including emergency mgmt, fire, law enforcement, public health, EMS, and city/ county government agencies.
