G191 - ICS/EOC Interface Course (one day)Please share this training announcement to volunteer and emergency management personnel who are active in your community ICS and EOC activities.The G191 course provides an opportunity for emergency management and response personnel to begin developing an Incident Command System (ICS)/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) interface implementation strategy, or action plan for their community. The course reviews ICS and EOC characteristics, responsibilities and functions using activities and group discussions.Course Objectives:
G191 EOC/ICS Interface courses are of value to participants representing volunteer associations to include CERT, faith-based organizations, Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD)s, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, utility, and private sector organizations.This course is open to a combined audience of ICS and EOC personnel to include federal, state, tribal, territorial, local level, private industry, volunteer and nongovernmental emergency management personnel active ICS and EOC activities.
Pre-requisite courses: IS‐100—Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS), IS‐200—Basic ICS Overview or IS‐2200—Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions IS‐700—Introduction to NIMS, IS‐800—Introduction to the National Response Framework (NRF)Course Maximum: 25
