eICS Basic User Training | May 19 | 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
eICS Basic User training is a web-based Electronic Incident Command System that is used to facilitate incident planning and response for incidents that impact the region. It is the primary communication platform for information sharing and situational awareness for the MARC HCC. The course will cover setting up/editing the User Profile, Contact Preferences, registering your mobile device, accessing the regional library, responding to incidents and communication tests, entering incident logs, as well as the mobile app. We will also briefly touch on EMResource (the web-based healthcare resource management system used to coordinate hospital facility, trauma, stroke, and STEMI statuses with EMS providers to capture real-time resource limitations), to include setting up notification preferences. This training will be virtual - delivered via Teams.
Who Should Attend: The eICS Basics course is directed toward MARC Health Care Coalition members (e.g., hospital, EMS, public health, and emergency management agency staff) that serve as representatives for their agency or organization in information sharing and situational awareness for the regional health care coalition.
Note: It is recommended that each agency/organization of the MARC HCC have at least two individuals with eICS access.
