Has your community, neighborhood or organization thought about forming a community land trust to help keep homeownership affordable? Are you interested in learning more about this important housing financing tool? If so, join us for this virtual workshop.
Overview: Please join us in learning about the important role community land trusts (CLTs) play in promoting affordable and sustainable homeownership. Supported by the Greater Kansas City Regional Housing Partnership (RHP), which is coordinated and convened by the Mid-America Regional Council and LISC Greater Kansas City, the RHP is offering this virtual session to help develop a regional business plan utilizing the CLT homeownership model.
Session Topics:
Presentation: Staff from Marlborough Community Land Trust (MCLT) will lead the presentation. MCLT is a Kansas City-based nonprofit serving as the lead consultant in developing the regional business plan.
Special Notes: Following the presentation, organizers will ask participants to complete a survey to continue to gauge regional interest in this tool. Feedback from the survey will be incorporated into the regional CLT business plan.
