ICS 400: Advanced Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents

Description

The ICS-400 is a two-day course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 Intermediate ICS courses, which are prerequisites for the ICS-400 course. 

*Required Pre-Requisites: Successful completion of accredited ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800 courses.

Target Audience
Senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity. 

Course Objectives

  • Explain how major incidents engender special management challenges.
  • Describe the circumstances in which an area command is established.
  • Describe the circumstances in which multi-agency coordination systems are established

Time

Training: 8:00a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day.
Details: Lunch and refreshments are on your own each day.

Location

Johnson County, KS - Med Act

The training will take place in room 1070/1075.
