In today's rapidly evolving threat landscape, resilience readiness is vital for any organization's ability to respond effectively to a cyber incident. This framework emphasizes proactive policy development, decisive leadership, and robust communication strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity. Evaluate your organization's readiness by identifying gaps in policies, decision-making protocols, and internal and external communication strategies across all phases of incident management—before, during, and after an event.

Key Learning Objectives:

1.    Examine the roles and responsibilities of senior leadership 
2.    Identify and validate prioritization of essential operations and business-critical functions for recovery.
3.    Describe your communications plan in the event of a cyber/physical incident.
4.    Improve the decision-making process of senior leadership during a cyber/physical incident. 
5.    Discuss the reputational risks and impacts on business operations in the event of a cyber/physical 
       incident.

Target Audience: 

City and county managers, city administrators, risk managers, and legal professionals working for city or county governments in the 9 county MARC region: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray Counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.

Note: This is a non-technical workshop.
