Target Audience: This is a free training opportunity open to all first responder disciplines: Fire, Police, Sheriff, EMS, Public Health and Emergency Management personnel with practical, scene-ready tactics for today’s opioid landscape.
Presenter: Josh Magaha is a 25-year Fire/EMS professional with 17 years at the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department, detailed to the HazMat company. A HazMat Technician for 19 years and current KCKFD FAO (Driver), Josh has delivered fentanyl awareness training to first responders and schools across the KC metro since 2015. His outreach includes more than 12,000 youth contacts over the last three years through the “One Pill Can Kill” initiative. Degreed from the University of Kansas, he teaches a broad range of HAZMAT topics region-wide and emphasizes practical, evidence-based tactics for the street.Maximum: 50 participants
