Regional Housing Partnership Launch Event

Description

The Regional Housing Partnership invites you to a kickoff event aimed at changing the housing narrative across Greater Kansas City.

The objective of this event is to:

  • Encourage support for a collaborative approach to housing affordability and instability issues
  • Share and celebrate the RHP’s progress to date and preview what’s coming next
  • Broaden the stakeholder community working collaboratively to identify housing solutions related to financing, capacity and policy

The event’s target audience is local elected officials, state and federal representatives; housing nonprofit leaders and advocates, individuals impacted by the housing crisis, RHP members and other community partners.

Convened and supported by MARC and LISC Greater Kansas City, the mission of the RHP is to foster a thriving housing system that produces and sustains a sufficient supply of quality, diverse housing options to meet the challenge. The RHP acts as a driving force for change by bringing together diverse partnerships to develop collaborative and innovative solutions that increase the availability, stability, accessibility and affordably of housing in the region. The RHP is funded by the generous support of the Marion and Henry Bloch Family Foundation, the Health Forward Foundation, the Hall Family Foundation and the Sunderland Foundation.

Check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. with remarks at 5 p.m.
