Several Seats AvailableICS-400 is a two-day course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 Intermediate ICS courses, which are prerequisites for the ICS-400 course.Course Objectives:Explain how major incidents engender special management challenges.Describe the circumstances in which an area command is established.Describe the circumstances in which multi-agency coordination systems are establishedPre-Requisites: Successful completion of accredited ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300,Intermediate ICS-700, and ICS-800 courses. State and local first responder senior personnel. Individuals must have their agency support to attend this Advanced level course.
Target Audience: ICS 400 is designed for State and local first responder senior personnel who are assigned to and expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.Registrants should receive approval from their department to attend and must meet course pre-requisites.
