ICS 400: Advanced Incident Command System for Complex Incidents

Description

The ICS-400 is a two-day course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 Intermediate ICS courses, which are prerequisites for the ICS-400 course. 

*Required Pre-Requisites: Successful completion of accredited and most current version of ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300 (2019 version), ICS-700, and ICS-800 courses.

Target Audience
Senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity. 

Course Objectives

  • Explain how major incidents engender special management challenges.
  • Describe the circumstances in which an area command is established.
  • Describe the circumstances in which multi-agency coordination systems are established

Time

Course schedule:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day

Details: Lunch and refreshments are on your own each day.

The training will take place in the Broadway Room located on the 1st floor of the Rivergate Center, where the MARC Conference Center is located.
