Please join us for a 4-hour, in-person course as an introduction and overview of the Incident Command System (ICS) for elected officials and senior staff. The course covers basic ICS principles and how ICS is critically important for supporting effecting emergency management. Designed for executives, administrators and policy makers, the course introduces ICS concepts and provides an orientation for executive understanding and participation in ICS. This course describes the history, features, principles and organizational structure of the ICS, including relationships between the incident commanders and agency executives.

Executives and senior Officials (including elected officials, city/county managers, agency administrators, etc.) who establish or implement policy, but who are normally not part of the on-scene ICS organization are encouraged to attend.
