PLEASE JOIN US - Wednesday, April 15, 2026

On behalf of the Mid-America LEPC/ HEPA, we are pleased to announce the HEPA/LEPC Kansas City Railroads and Fire Department Summit Kansas City Railroads and Fire Department Summit Opportunities scheduled for April 15, 2026.

This event is sponsored by railroad industry partners: Union Pacific Railroad, CPKC Hazmat, BNSF, NSRR. The summit will cover railroad and fire department interface at incidents. Participants will also meet with railroad responders who manage incidents in the Kansas City metro.

Target audience: Command staff and company officers railroad responders would work during with an incident and who make training decisions to address training gaps.

Mid-America LEPC/HEPA service area in the Greater Kansas City region: Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte in Kansas; and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray in Missouri.

Lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but you must register. Seating is also limited.
