ChemPREP: Community Preparedness Seminar
In this 4-hour education seminar, participants will review historical/expected challenges and principles related to chemical defense and preparedness actions that can be taken. It is designed to engage the community on their specific capabilities and concerns as they relate to chemical threats. Topics include:
• Threat brief to familiarize the community with chemicals of concern.
• Indicators and warnings of a chemical attack for front line responders.
• Lessons learned from historical incidents and national preparedness initiatives.
• Priority preparedness actions to optimize your chemical defense system.
• Response Community panel discussions on jurisdictional chemical threats and
capabilities.Target Audience: Operator and management level responders and care providers from a broad range of organizations including:
