Safety and Mobility Planning Showcase

Description

MARC will host a Safety and Mobility Showcase to highlight useful resources and tools for stakeholders looking to prioritize transportation safety and mobility. The showcase will give stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about our Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), Bikeway Plan, e-mobility resource, and Way to Go commuter program. Stakeholders will review examples of potential safety projects and initiatives and better understand how the CSAP and our other safety and mobility resources can guide local implementation.

The event is designed to support communities as they prepare their Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant applications, and attendance will be especially valuable for jurisdictions seeking to strengthen their proposals for federal funding.

MARC staff and members of the project team will be available to answer questions about the SS4A program and offer guidance on how communities can use the CSAP and other resources and tools to identify and implement transportation-related safety and mobility.

  • Greater Kansas City Regional Bikeway Plan 
  • E-mobility
  • Way to Go
